Richmond

Project Summary

Located in Richmond, this ensuite renovation was designed to transform an outdated, unusable space into a calm and contemporary retreat. By retaining the existing plumbing layout, the new design introduces a fresh white and timber palette, warm brushed brass finishes, a curved shower screen and an integrated shower shelf, creating a space that feels refined, functional and timeless.

Project budget: $60,000

  • Custom timber floating vanity with generous storage

  • Brushed brass tapware and matching bathroom accessories

  • Built-in shower shelf with integrated lighting

  • Dedicated wet area incorporating the bath and shower on one side of the room

A Light, Contemporary Foundation

Crisp white tiles create a fresh and cohesive base, helping the compact ensuite feel brighter and more open. Soft grey tiles surrounding the bath add subtle contrast and depth while maintaining the clean, understated palette.

Warm Timber & Brushed Brass

The timber vanity brings warmth and natural texture into the space, balancing the cooler white finishes. Brushed brass tapware and accessories add a refined touch, creating a consistent finish across the vanity, bath and shower areas.

Gentle Curves & Considered Details

A curved glass shower screen softens the room’s clean lines, complemented by the rounded vessel basin and brushed brass fixtures. Integrated mirror lighting and a built-in shower shelf introduce both ambience and everyday practicality without cluttering the space.

Practical Design, Elevated Outcome

The leaking spa bath was replaced with a streamlined bath and shower combination while retaining the existing plumbing layout. The finished Richmond ensuite now feels brighter, more functional and beautifully resolved, with a timeless white and timber design made for everyday living.
